Meath suffer Costello blow

Ace Meath forward Matthew Costello is set to miss his side's All-Ireland SFC third round showdown with Kerry at Glenisk O'Connor Park tomorrow.

The Dunshaughlin attacker has not been named in Robbie Brennan’s match-day panel as the unbeaten Royals aim to oust the Kingdom for top spot in Group 2.

Cathal Hickey will make his first championship start of the season as a replacement for Costello in the only change from the drawn game against Roscommon two weeks ago.

Throw-in in Tullamore is timed for 4.15pm.
