Offaly senior hurling manager Johnny Kelly is set to remain at the helm for a fourth year in 2026.

The Irish Independent reports that Kelly will remain in charge of the Faithful men next season as the team looks to make more inroads.

2024 saw the Galway native steering Offaly to Joe McDonagh Cup success after defeating Laois at Croke Park by 2-23 to 0-26 to mark their first success in the second-tier competition.

This past season was a mixed one for Kelly’s men, earning promotion to Division 1A in the Allianz League before surviving a scare against Antrim towards the end of May to retain their Leinster senior championship status.

It’s understood that Kelly’s term will be extended at next month’s meeting of the county board.
