Kerry could be without midfielder Barry Dan O’Sullivan for the rest of the All-Ireland senior football championship as a result of the injury he sustained against Cork.

O’Sullivan came off with a knee problem after 21 minutes of the Kingdom’s 1-28 to 0-20 victory over their neighbours at Pairc Ui Chaoimh last Saturday and multiple reports have since suggested that it could be a ligament issue.

The Dingle clubman has been in fine form after getting an extended run in Jack O’Connor’s side the absence of Diarmuid O’Connor who has been struggling with a groin injury.

However, fears are that O’Sullivan’s knee injury is worse than initially thought and could end his involvement for the Munster champions in 2025.

Kerry are set to face Meath in their remaining group game on Saturday week at Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore (4.15pm).
