The draws for the preliminary quarter-finals of the Tailteann Cup have taken place this evening.

Division 3 champions Offaly are set welcome New York to Tullamore next weekend (June 7/8th) as the teams look to book their place in the last eight of the second-tier football championship.

Tony McEntee’s Sligo side will host Carlow while Antrim travel to take on Wexford at Chadwicks Wexford Park.

The last fixture sees an all-Leinster affair between Westmeath and Laois, with Dermot McCabe’s men having home advantage at Mullingar's TEG Cusack Park.

Limerick, Wicklow, Kildare and Fermanagh await in the quarter-finals following this weekend’s third round results in the competition.

The exact fixture details for the above preliminary quarter-finals are expected to be confirmed tomorrow (Monday).
