Belturbet team captain Brían Wallace and Player of the Match Conor Tully hold aloft the U-16 Division 3 cup at Breffni Park

Cavan Seniors Congratulations to our two county players Damien O'Reilly and Brendan Fitzpatrick and the Cavan Seniors who defeated our neighbours Monaghan by 1-13 to 0-13 last Sunday afternoon in the Dr. McKenna Cup in Kingspan Breffni Park. This result meant Cavan topped their group and now face Fermanagh tonight Wed Jan 21st at 8pm in the Dr. McKenna Cup Semi Final in Kingspan Breffni Park. Should Cavan be victorious tonight they will face the winners of Tyrone v Armagh in the Dr.McKenna Cup Final this Saturday night Jan 24th.  Best of luck to our duo and the county team.

Cavan U21's Hard luck to the Cavan U21's who were defeated by 1-12 to 0-7 by Roscommon in their Round 3 Hastings Cup match last Saturday in O'Connell Park, Milltown.

Belturbet GFC Medal Presentation  The Under 16 Division 3League Winners from 2014, the victorious Senior Ladies team who landed the 2014 Division 2 League title and the U12 Girls team who also claimed silverware last year received their medal presentations last Saturday night in the Seven Horsehsoes.  Special Guest on the night was 5 time Kerry All Ireland winning defender Aidan O'Mahony and on behalf of everyone in the club we would like to thank Aidan for making the journey down to present the medals.

Senior Management The club are delighted to announce the arrival of Kinawley native Mark Monaghan as our new senior manager for 2015 with Jason O'Reilly acting as team trainer and selector. We would like to wish Mark, Jason, Aaron Donohoe and Liam McCabe who complete the Senior backroom staff the very best of luck for the 2015 season.

Congrats to Sinead & Neil Congratulations to Sinead O'Reilly and Neil Cosgrove on their recent engagement. Sinead has served the club in a huge number of capacities in the past as club secretary, assistant secretary and registrar as well as playing a pivotal role on both the gathering and club committees. The club wishes you both the very best of luck and happiness for the future.

Cavan Ladies Cavan Senior Ladies have been drawn to face Tyrone in the Quarter Finals of the Ulster Senior Championship.

Club Membership For those wanting to pay the standard club membership fees for 2015 individual  membership for a player or club member is €50 per person. Family Membership costs are set at €100. Club Membership can be paid to either Mark Lawlor or Alan Traynor.

New Juvenile Chairman Congratulations to Darragh McAvinney who has been appointed the new Juvenile Chairman for 2015. The club wishes Darragh the very best of luck in his new role and would like to sincerely thank outgoing chairperson Eileen Browne for all her tremendous work and commitment she has given to the role of chairperson for the last number of years.

Juvenile AGM The Juvenile AGM takes place this Friday night January 23rd at 8.30 p.m in the Seven Horseshoes. The club would appreciate all coaches and parents attendance. Many thanks.

Senior Scor Senior Scor 2015 takes place in Killeshandra on Saturday February 21st at 7pm. Anyone interested in taking part please contact Goretti McDonald on 0872238276 or Liz McDermott on 0863260096 by this Friday January 23rd. The usual disciplines apply- Leiriu(Novelty Act), Recitation, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music, Ballad Groups, Ceili and Set Dancing. Please come along and support the Rory O'Moore's.

GAA Club National Draw The Club are selling Gaa national club draw tickets for 2015 with the price of a ticket €10 each. There are 15 excellent prizes on offer including travel packages, shopping vouchers and lots more. The Gaa National Club Draw takes place on Friday February 27th. Could all club members and players with remaining tickets please return them to Chairman Mark Lawlor or Vice Chairman Liam McCabe as soon as possible this week.
