Blotto Draw
The Blotto Draw took place in The Carraig Springs on Monday 29th September. The winning numbers were 2,3,17,26. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners of E25 were Hugh McInerney, Tomas Corr, Seamus Cahill Drumavaddy, Kieran Callaghan, Teresa Donohoe. The next draw will be on Monday 6th October in The Den. Jackpot is now E8,700.
Senior Championship
Denn faced Drumalee in the Senior Championship Relegation semi-final on Saturday last in Ballinagh GAA Grounds. The team won the game on a 2-9 to 1-9 scoreline and retained senior status for another year.
Minor Championship
The Minor B Championship quarter final between Denn and Cuchullainns will be played on Sunday 5th October at 12pm in St Matthews Park, Crosskeys.
Denn GFC Juvenile Committee
The Denn juvenile club we would like to thank everyone for their support in our fundraiser especially those who turned out on the night and those who gave donations that were not able to attend. We would also thank those who donated spot prizes for the raffle - The Farnham Arms Hotel, A,C,B,Roofing, Cavan Car Parts, Dunnes Stores, McCarrens, The Crosskeys Inn. A extra special word of thanks to Brian and Annmarie Boylan for the use of their premises and the refreshments and donation on the night. We would also like to thank Kieran Callaghan for giving up his time and wit to do MC on the night.
Under 14 Championship
Denn defeated Munterconnaught in Division 3B of the Under 14 Championship on Monday last on a 4-13 to 4-11 scoreline.
Denn GFC Meeting
There will be a mmeting in the clubrooms on Friday evening 3rd October at 9.30pm to discuss possible changes to the leagues and championship in Cavan. All members and players are invited to attend.
Under 13 Championship
The Under 13 Championship will start on Saturday 25th October and will be a knock out championship.
