Killucan 2/11 v Ballycomoyle 1/03
Venue killucan
Time 7pm
Ref Paul Mcgoughey.
Our first outing of the year saw our minors travel to killucan for a DV 3 clash.
It was Ballycomoyle who started the brighter with some lovely football. However, it was killucan who opened the scoring on 9 mins. Both Teams looked sharp, but some poor finishing and a multitude of wides were the downfall of the away team, but both could be guilty of this. Ballycomoyle hit the net just before halftime to bring it within 3 points
Into the 2nd half and again both teams trading wides, but it was the home team who pulled away with 2 unanswered goals.
On the final whistle, it was killucan the Victor's.
Thanks to the travelling support.
Next up an away trip to meet the Downs on 05-08.

St Michael's Fixtures and Results.
Result.
St Michaels Minors travelled to Ballymore to take on Milmore Gaels in the 2nd round of the U18 Championship. Amid heavy showers, both teams produced a great display. St Michaels ended the first half with a 2.9 to 2.7 lead, but Millmore started the 2nd half the strongest and goals proved their friend. They roared into a 10pt lead in the second half only to be pegged back to 3pts in the closing minutes. A narrow wide from close range was St Michaels last throw of the dice but the goal eluded them. A thoroughly enjoyable game watched by a big crowd saw St Michaels loose by 3pts, but they can be very proud of their performance. A special mention to one of our scoring forwards who scored four 2 pointers and a goal, as well as other free kick scores. Thanks to all who supported the lads. On we go.

Div 3 championship Round 2.
St Michaels made the trip to Ballinagore to contest round 2 of the championship on Wednesday evening.
Despite missing a few vital players the visitors had 23 players togged out for the match.
Despite the threat of showers a fine evening developed. Play started on time at 7 and an entertaining first half got under way.
The home team played with a slight wind and got off to a good start taking some early chances to take the lead before St Michaels found their feet.
Lillyput went in at the break up by a few scores.
St Michaels got off to a flyer in the second half and picked off some fine points.
The home side however got back to the pace of the game and scored some impressive goals as time went on and the subs rolled in.
Our lads put in a great effort.
We were just beaten by the better team on the night.
Their is no doubt our lads will bounce back after this defeat.
