Clare and Cork set for All-Ireland final rematch in 2025 Munster SHC opener

Clare and Cork are set to meet in a repeat of last month's epic All-Ireland SHC final in the first round of next year's Munster SHC.
The provisional fixtures were released this week and have the All-Ireland finalists down for a meeting in Cusack Park on the weekend of April 19/20. Seven-in-a-row chasing Limerick travel to Thurles to face Tipperary on the same weekend, while Waterford - now under Peter Queally - will make their bow in the round-robin series on the following weekend at home to All-Ireland champions Clare.
The Munster SHC final is slated for Sunday, June 7.
The 2025 Munster SHC provisional fixtures are as follows:
April 19/20: Clare v Cork, Cusack Park; Tipperary v Limerick, FBD Semple Stadium.
April 26/27: Cork v Tipperary, SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh; Waterford v Clare, Walsh Park.
May 3/4: Waterford v Limerick, Walsh Park.
May 10/11: Clare v Tipperary, Cusack Park.
May 17/18: Limerick v Cork, TUS Gaelic Grounds; Tipperary v Waterford, FBD Semple Stadium.
May 24/25: Limerick v Clare, TUS Gaelic Grounds; Cork v Waterford, SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
June 7: Final
