Abbeyside will try and derail Ballygunner’s 11-in-a-row bid when the two sides meet in the Waterford senior hurling championship final next weekend.
The Gunners kept it to script today by seeing off Passage on a comprehensive 0-22 to 0-13 scoreline at Walsh Park, where Pauric Mahony hit 0-13 for the winners.
The 2022 All-Ireland champions were 0-7 to 0-5 ahead after 30 minutes before going on to lead by four at the break and then powering to victory with a strong second-half display.

Michael Kiely (penalty) and Charlie Teen were among those to find the net for the Dungarvan men who had trailed by 0-11 to 1-7 at half-time.
