Danny Coyne netted four goals as St Gabriel’s defeated Robert Emmetts by 5-21 to 0-13 in Ruislip to land their 19th London senior hurling championship title.
The 2022 champions got off to a flying start that saw Coyne registering their first goal after three minutes and the same man would net again as the Wembley club eventually moved towards a 12-point half-time lead.
Sean Glynn’s points kept the scoreboard ticking over for St Gabriel’s after the change of ends and, while Emmetts would get scores back through marksman Brian Dowling, they couldn’t find the goals they required.
Instead, Coyne completed his hat-trick and added another major for good measure as Gabriel’s cruised to a second title in three years.
Congratulations to St. Gabriel's who are Capital Concrete Senior Hurling champions, beating Robert Emmetts 5-21 - 0-13.
