Dunboyne if they can iron out a few small things are my favourites. a fresh Donal lenighan , out to prove a point . Skyrne , with the younger emerging talent one year older will be in the shake up, and a dark horse is Dunshaughlin when they get their county men back & if a few injuries can be cleared up

You can still hear the chants even though they never existed at a game with a very limited mask wearing crowd and no chanting whatsoever? Pricless(sic) indeed. Crinigan (Meath) - Posts: 1352 - 25/06/2021 10:17:51 2353218 Link 16 |

Anymore tips for us. You dont seem to have a clue. From reading the match report Simonstown were missing half their defense as well.

Great win for them in Feis cup last night, still can't see them doing anything in championship though

Well done to the tones. Their reward is a final @7 on a b/holiday Monday. Must be v frustrating for players. Surely final could been slotted in better time. Same with inter final at nearly 5 on the b/holiday. Jimmycricket (Meath) - Posts: 115 - 30/07/2021 09:51:33 2365676 Link 0 |

Watched the Feis Cup Final online. Tones were very poor and just rolled over. Tones got 2 goals against the run of play to put a bit of respectability on the score board. Kells should have won by a lot more and Tones keeper made some great saves. Kells will go close again. Maestro (Meath) - Posts: 584 - 02/08/2021 20:25:41 2367026 Link 0 |
Yes Tones were very poor. From what I saw they needed the game as most of them were stuck to the ground. Kells a far fitter team with a game plan. Tones unfit slow and no plan at all. Totally destroyed in mid field and the half forward line, a 20 point winning margin would have been a more realistic winning margin for Kells. Tones look like an average Intermediate team at best. If they win a game in the championship they will be doing well on that performance. latouche25 (Meath) - Posts: 540 - 03/08/2021 10:09:45 2367152 Link 0 |
Tones will be worried about that performance even though they had a good year up to that game. Still will be a tough team to play. Kells showed why they are still in the top 3 or 4 teams in the county. Seem to be missing a few players though and they haven't a strong panel.
