Bhulf Tón, playing with a strong breeze on a chilly evening in ratoath led by 0-8 to 0-3 at half time and judging by the first half exchanges could have expected a stiff challenge after the interval. However they ensured qualification for the final with an emphatic second half display. They proved to be the more cohesive team, coped well with the conditions and managed to restrict their opponents to one point thanks to a lions share of possession from both kick outs with Stephen Sheppard as roving keeper proving a steadying influence in the second half.
