Baconstown kept a firm grip on the Allianz Meath Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 camogie title with this comfortable win over Cannistown in the second game at Lomans Park on Friday. The girls in the Maroon and White have won the last three titles. PHOTOS

Rosie Morgan got the scoreboard working with a well taken goal. Maebh Flynn raised a second green flag and the holders went to the half time huddle 2-4 to 0-0 in front.

Joint captain Roisin Ward scored 1-2 in the opening ten minutes of the second half and the holders were well on their way to another title. Hannah McKeigue made sure her side would not go home scoreless, pointing from a free in the closing minutes.

After the game joint captains Roisin Ward and Millie Killoran were presented with the Division 1 cup by James Battersby.
