Delight for Baconstown after last years Division 1 Camogie final win over Cannistown
The Allianz Meath Cumann na mBunscol Hurling and Camogie finals take place this Friday and Saturday at Lomans Park Trim. As alway large crowds are expected at the Trim venue and if 2024 can match 2023 supporters are in for a great few days of finals.
Kilskyre, looking to complete a football and hurling double get proceedings underway at 12.30 on Friday. This is followed by the Division 1 camogie final where Baconstown will be hoping to retain the title in a repeat of last years decider against Cannistown.
After last years success in the Shield hurling is going from strength to strength in Lismullen. They contest the Division 2 final in the last game on Friday.
Kildalkey and Cannistown get the six card programme underway at 9.30 on Saturday morning. Rataoth will be hoping to make up for last years disappointment when they take on Kilmessan in the Division 1 hurling final at 11.30.
North Meath is also seeing a rise in hurling at school level. For the very first time Carnaross, under the guidance of Kildalkey camogie captain Rachael Browne and Oldcastle managed by Meath senior star Seanie Geraghty will contest finals.
