Ballaghaderreen and Knockmore progressed to the last four of the Mayo senior football championship after their respective quarter-final wins yesterday.
Darren McHale (2) and Keith Ruttledge netted the goals as 2021 champions Knockmore recorded a comfortable 3-8 to 0-5 victory over Garrymore.
The earlier game in the Paddy Moclair Cup race saw Ballaghaderreen defeating Ballintubber on a 2-8 to 0-8 scoreline in Ballaghaderreen.
The home side’s goals came from Kuba Callaghan and David McBrien as they advanced to the semi-finals at their opponents’ expense.
Today’s quarter-finals see Breaffy meeting Westport at 1pm before holders Ballina Stephenites clash with Castlebar Mitchels at 3.45pm.
