Former Donegal star Nadine Doherty sees tomorrow’s All-Ireland ladies senior football championship final as “Kerry’s to lose”.

The Kingdom take on Galway at 4.15pm at Croke Park looking to end the county’s 31-year wait for the Brendan Martin Cup, having lost out in the last two finals to Dublin and Meath respectively. S

Speaking to RTE Sport ahead of this weekend’s big showdown at headquarters, Doherty said she expects Kerry’s experience in finals to be a factor against the Tribeswomen.

"Galway are a team, as we saw against Dublin, that can squeeze out the results when it’s tight but it’s so hard to call,” she stated.

"I think whoever manages to overcome the nerves, or whatever block causes both of these teams to underperform, then obviously will put themselves in very good position of winning... You’d have to feel that Kerry hold that slight advantage due to being in that third final in a row.

"But I would say with confidence that it’s Kerry’s to lose.”
