Patsy played the whole game and scored 1-1. Wouldn't want to believe everything you read on this ;-)

I thought your defending this year was so poor. The Galway match can any management team stand over that defensive performance?
Conceding 1-29 and 3-26 against the teams you had to beat would point to problems there?"
Size, both height and build, is an issue at the back. Selection to a lesser extent also. Still not sure why Cian Molloy wasn't picked. And why Conor Foley was left on Hetherton so long.

Hope James Byrnes injury isn't too bad.

Am I correct in saying all our teams are in semi finals playing Kilkenny, Tipp, Galway, Dublin/Galway and Meath?

Granted 1 is noted as a shield semi final and I don't really know the competition structure currently.

We are in the very top u16 final, though I thought it was the Eugene Carey, not Clarke. So we are top 4 in U16 this year. Playing Tipps u16As. Corks As are playing Galways As in the other SF. This is up in Tipp.
Our u16Bs are playing Clare Bs, Kildare As, and Westmeath As.
Tony Forristal is for Munster teams this year, we are in the Leinster Cup in Kilkenny, playing Kilkenny A in the SF, with Galway playing Laois in the other SF. Dublin didn't qualify. We have mixed teams at u14.

Just a query for some reason I thought shamrocks even though they had pulled out of football championship similar to what ger o hans. Did after couple games .
They were still able to play in relegation final as it was stand alone comp .
I could be wrong on this just wondering .
It struck me at the time that it was unfair on other team in the relegation final.

That's a good spread of players which is good. Has franks left. My dad was talking to someone last weekend and said we was a massive problem I'm only going by 3rd hand information so could be wrong.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that giving walkovers on a game-by-game basis is treated differently from withdrawing from the whole competition altogether?

He's with the Waterford Minors next year

On a different note (And a bit of a wild suggestion) but I think they should look at bringing in Tony Griffin in some capacity. Think our biggest issues right now are mental, he worked with Kerry back in 2022 to help them mentally, he's living in Wicklow right now, might be worth kicking a few tyres to see whether it's possible?

Possibly withdrew alright
If u give 2 walkovers yiu are out at any age /grade . Yet shamrocks played relegatin final . Just curious as if they wanted could they ask to fulfill the relegation final fixture . Regardless of conceding games . Would be very unfair on st johns Volunteers if they did who finished bottom of other group .

Biggest problem is the hurlers are not there, on a skill or s&c level.

What is the evidence of this?

Our recent record.

We have lads who are good enough, skill and S and C wise, but keep getting injured. We have other lads who are good enough but won't commit and/or are in Oz. We have lads who might get good enough but aren't there yet.
But right now Countyman is right, we don't have enough lads right now who are skilful enough and big enough in large enough numbers to win an AI.
