What implications will it have for teams and supporters? Will there be more time between matches?. Will there be a gap between the finish of the league and the start of the championship? Will it suit the stronger teams or give teams trying to make the breakthrough a better chance?"
Every County has its own separate Club Championship format. Can we not get 2025 over before we start mentioning 2026?

It's hard to judge until it gets going.
It's straight knockout with a bit of a backdoor also.
If you win your first two games, you're straight into the 1/4s.
So I guess it's one fewer game for the stronger teams.

Just noticed that I entered this post on the wrong thread.
Errigal Ciarán v Ardboe to launch 2025 Tyrone SFC. Tyrone remarkably in this day and age run their championship in straight knockout. Errigal Ciarán have a high national profile after winning Ulster last year and getting to the All Ireland final.
Donegal championships underway this week. St Eunans and Naomh Conaill will be the big favourites, both have many county men. Hoping my own club can surprise a few people in the Intermediate and get us back to Senior. Really enjoy this time of year after inter county, back to the grassroots!

Wouldn't have it run any other way. Errigal should be unstoppable in Tyrone, maybe Trillick to give them a scare.
Replying To tirawleybaron: "IS that your pitch to have the Kerry Championship on? With only 8/9 senior clubs and a bunch of well organised divisional teams, it probably is the best standard along side Dublins "super club" model.
Outside of that, the odd clash of a counties main rivals might get some interest ( Stephanites v Castlebar, Corofin v Moycullen, Nemo v Castlehaven etc"
I wouldn't mind inter-county going that route - 8/9 strong counties and "a bunch of well organised divisional teams" covering all others.
