Replying To bloodandbandage: "I agree with you 100% and the odds quoted for this match are just pure nonsense. This Dublin team have the power and pace to match Cork all over the field, and I expect this to be a right tough battle and not as free flowing as some would think
Harnedy is a huge loss for us, as he's guaranteed to score 3 or 4 points per game. He's also a brilliant target man for Collins; however, Dalton is an able replacement, and his long-range free talking will be a huge asset. I do worry about Hetherton (saw him up close at the Wexford match and he's a beast of a man!) coming on as Eoin has struggled with lads of his physique, but we'll just have to see how that pans out.
I really hope that we get a good clean game with no red cards, etc. And if we lose, I'll be shouting for the Dubs all the way in the final. Was at the Dublin/Limerick match, and the outpouring of joy at the end was amazing.
Fancy KK to beat Tipp in the other semi."
No match at this stage is a forgone conclusion, every team there is so on merit. I just feel Cork will go at Dublin far more direct than Limerick did and I think they will score goals which Limerick didn't. That said, Cork put so much energy into going for the kill at times, that can subsequently fade out of games for a period and that could be dangerous if Dublin can produce the same performance they did against Limerick.
I think Tipperary may turn over Kilkenny.
Best of luck to all Counties, and safe travels to those going to Croker on Saturday and Sunday
