Best of luck to John Hegarty and the Wexford Footballers in their quest for promotion this year! Hopefully the new rules might suit our style of play, although we aren't blessed with long range shooters it has to be said. Our 45 conversion rate when Brooks was out was poor. Great win for the lads. Unlike the hurlers handling and other basics were excellent. Hard to know whether we were really as good as the scoreline suggested or were London just really poor. We have the strongest panel we have had in years. Thought the 2 Hughes, Byrne and Sean Nolan were particularly impressive, although in all honesty everyone played very well.
