Replying To WexMurph:  "Looked good going forward, Carlow were limited in attack and still managed to get close in the end. Still they will improve for it"
Thanks WexMurph

Replying To Onion Breath:  "Game of two halves. Over 60 mins match ye just about did enough but a draw wouldn't have been unfair outcome. Another 5 mins in that second half and ye were beaten.

Looks like we'll all be in trouble against Kildare though."
Hopefully both teams got something out of it then. Kildale are always strong at this age group, what happens to them after that is a mystery

At least ye can clinch a quarter final spot by beating Leix next week so can have that banked before ye face Kildare.

Strong team named. Good to see Shane Pettit is fit to start, and Dylan Furlong is fit enough to be on the match day squad. Glad Niall Hughes is OK after the knock last weekend also.

Ben played the best overall all round game I ever saw him play against Tipperary game before last. Covered every blade of grass and showed real leadership.
I don't think it really matters what number you put on outfield players any more in football, as even the fullbacks could be at the other end of the pitch. I do think Tom adds a good bit of steel to the side, something we were maybe lacking a little up until last year, and if I was selecting the team I'd be starting him.

Haven't seen much of the footballers this year but it's been poor enough quality wise. Work the ball well up but shot selection has a lot to be desired. Also very small crowd from where it looks on tele which is also very disappointing. Probably should be played in a smaller venue.

Unfortunately wexfords decision making cost them this evening they will be sick with that as its a game they left behind.

Was poor in fairness. Too many players either afraid or told not too shoot. When did Eoghan Nolan start playing in the backs he would be one of our better forwards?? Limerick looked like they could get through every time they attacked and that's a Limerick team in development aswell. Hopefully they will put it behind them for the championship. Also why did Brosnan not start I thought lads here were saying he's playing out of his skin.

I seen better shooting in the woods than wexford lads. Well done to Limerick Goals win games.

Goals win games and unfortunately the backs couldn't contain the Limerick forwards who got the scores that mattered. Such a pity as we had plenty of possession but not the same penetration where it mattered. The subs who came on up front didn't have the desired impact either.

Did you see how he played when he came on..? Not exactly out of his skin.

Would have been better off starting him and bringing on the younger players then, well that's what management have been doing all year. Wouldnt have mattered though we were at sea at the back.

Was at the match so didn't catch a replay of it but did anyone see what happened to Eoghan Nolan before their third goal?
