Dr. Crokes went man to man against the Canavans, and lost out. With hindsight, Crokes might accept they should have used a sweeper. But fair play to Crokes for playing football all the way.

But a different sort of team, one that wants to target key opposition players without giving away red cards will play over the edge when marking them - enough "accidentally-on-purpose" roughhouse stuff throughout a game, and they'll bank that some of it will work. Both Canavans uninjured and on the pitch during that second half would have made the difference, even despite the disastrous start to the first half.
