Replying To Cockney_Cat:  "Is it? The team was released 2 days before the game. I got a text for the KK team playing Antrim on Sunday about an hour ago."
Why would i want the kk team?

Big opportunity for Redmond tomorrow. Let's hope he grabs it with both hands, we need physicality and he'd have a bit of that about him.

Don't be surprised if one or both Reck or Ryan starts although I'd expect Ryan to come in late in the game

Rossiter just put in the same team sheet as the last day, he had to put someone in for jack on it. I expect Shane to start and i wouldnt be suprised to see Liam start as well. Donohue going to midfield and eoin ryan dropping out If Shane starts.
As for the bench, ya we do lack experience and size in the forwards, but casey, CBD and Simon Roche are good players. If you added Mac and Jack to the bench, that would strengthen up the bench. I am hopeful we can win this.

Agreed massive opportunity for Jack Redmond. Hope he takes it with both hands and announces himself onto the championship scene. I agree with you Liam Ryan and Shane Reck I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them starting . It's a massive game and with Donohoe moving to midfield our back 6 lack a bit of experience bar Damien Reck

All he had to change was a surname to meet the croke Park deadline:)

I doubt that anybody is fooled by a dummy team any more. Somebody told me that a Wexford player told him they knew where the puck out after the Wexford goal in the 2019 Leinster Final was going and a Wexford player caught it and McGovern got a point.
This is the amount of team analysis going on now. Dublin will be ready for Wexford whether or not Ryan or Reck or Redmond start. Wexford will be ready for Burke and Sutcliffe whether or not they start.
Its not 1980s any more. Nobody is fooled that easily.
BTW, ignore the terracing tickets being for individual terrace, its one entry for terrace one for the stand and don't think it would have changed in the past year.

Sutlcliffe and Burke are two huge losses all the same, whether or not they tog is another thing. Think it sways a win for Wexford by 4, but Dublin can produce a performance at home and could nick it either.Huge game for both teams.

I might be alone in this, but I'm not convinced that the team named for the Dublin match is a "dummy team".

The team started exactly as named last week. There's an old saying about "don't change a winning team", and nobody performed so poorly last week that you'd be saying "they have to be dropped for the next day".

Yes, either or both Liam Ryan/Shane Reck might start, but on the other hand, since both just coming back from injury, not beyond the bounds of possibility either that both will start on the bench and just be put into action if or when needed.

Anyway, it's twenty past four on Friday as I type this. Suppose we'll know in exactly 24 hours time!

You could well be right Pikeman . We won't know until throw in tomorrow . I don't see the point in dummy teams myself. Think we had a few changes to announced starting 15s last year for champioship I could be mistaken

Whoever wins almost certain to get at least third spot. Be one of games of the group.

Think this is a massive massive game for us….obviously Win and we've gone a good about of qualifying for all Ireland series but it'd be a huge market put down for a Leinster final. Might make a few people sit up and take notice, seen a few people saying we're getting no airtime online or with analysts..unless it's for the wrong reasons like the Antrim, Westmeath games etc but a win here and we're in a great position and definitely in the driving seat for a Leinster final spot. Need to take advantage of it while we can, I don't think I've seen the overall quality in Leinster as poor since maybe the late 80s. Kilkenny are good, definitely in the top 3/4 in Ireland but I don't see them beating Clare/Limerick/Cork back to back to win an all Ireland either. Much and all as I've enjoyed the last day drama with Kilkenny and it either being qualifying or relegation on the line, I'd love to have a year without such drama and have most of the hard work done by then…there's only so many times you can push your luck too.

A friend in Galway asked me was Jippo fit. And I said exactly that. The backs named did well against Clare, Galway, Limerick and Antrim. The losing of the Galway game wasn't really a bad malfunction at the back in general, 1 mistake led to a goal, but we hit a woeful amount of wides.

Wexford-Dublin games have been poor enough fare from a neutral's perspective in the last few years, think tomorrow might be a good bit better though

I wouldn't be too worried what neutrals think, these games are about us and getting points. Anything else is irrelevant

Not a whisper of a breeze and looks like it will stay dry. Perfect day for the natural wristy hurlers of the Liffeyside to overcome the honest hardworking and physically conditioned men of Forth and Bargy.

We should arrange for all Hoganstanders to meet in Craobh bar beforehand for a convivial exchange of views :-)

Safe travel to all. Looking forward to it.
