What a point that was from Tony Kelly at the end though."
One of the greatest finals ever and it's a sad day for hurling according to you. Pathetic

Fair play to Clare, a great game. That's gonna sting for Cork, beat the all ireland champions twice, knocked them out them lose the final

It's not all down to Johnny Murphy,he contributed to a fantastic game..however I'm pretty sure he's going to get the blame..on another point, why play extra time in final, surely a replay straight off and then extra time if neede in replay..another huge own goal from Gaa..it doesn't make since when there was date for a replay anyway.

It was not all one side. Cork got a score from a line ball that never went out. A point from a free that no foul occurred. All in all evened out today. No fan of Johnie. He put us out of the championship this year.
Ironically we beat Cork and a a controversial decision gave Clare a win that would have put Cork out. A squabsquare ball gave Tipp a draw. That is bad luck to say the least.
Congrats to Clare. They are champions and both teams gave us a spectacle to be proud of.

I fancied Cork all year and backed them but I knew last week my bet was doomed with Nodyradamus (Limerickforliam24) poster backed Cork .Brilliant game though!

Murphy had a fine performance.
Hurling today was phenomenal but should have been a replay.
Clare deserved to win over the 90+ minutes."

What a game to wrap up the year.

Fair play to Clare. They clawed their way back after an outstanding Cork opening. The fight and resilience they demonstrated was unreal.

The ref can get everything right. I thought he did a really good job and those calls balance out in the end.

What about TK though. Its well know they like their music in Clare. Today, Tony danced to the beat.

Clare had slightly more composure in front of goal. Cork had chance of a point near end of extra time, but he shot and keeper saved.

Can't understand people nit picking referee Murphy's performance today.I felt he contributed to a wonderful occasion but nobody seems to notice that his linesmen and umpires made more miscalls than he did from the decisions they were asked to make. Congratulations to Clare on balance were slightly better; they missed more reasonable scoring chances
than Cork over the course of the game,Both team gave us a performance to remember.

What a great game of hurling.

The Cork goal was brilliant and then Tony Kelly score's probably the best ever goal in a final.

Draw and Replay would have been fair but sports never fair.

I wouldn't be too hard on the ref at the end as none of the Cork players even appealed for a free. I'm guessing everyone was watching where the sliotar ended up.

Well done Clare.

If you cry about people only laugh so I always try to take it on the chin. For what's its worth hats of to Clare I think they shaded it. But lord god the ref missed the big calls how was that not a free in when all day he was giving fouls for shirt pulling. Yes Robbie should have scored but still. Cork also had a free in which was not given instead of one it was 3 . Again maybe it's me but that must have been a penalty I think a draw would have been fair but to the winner goes the spoils hats off to Clare well done

Yes, you needy cratur.
Up the Banner. Unlike you, I've no issues with another county's success.
They were the better team and deserving of their win.

Congratulations.. Thought after 10/15 minutes ye were going to be destroyed.
Fantastic heart and determination. But for some shocking wides should have been out of sight in the last few minutes of normal time.
Clare have been excellent over the last few years. Genuinely thought you'd regressed this year and missed your chance of a 5th all Ireland. but hurling is strange. Cork beat us twice, we beat you twice and now you beat Cork twice... Mad stuff.

Was a great final and as a neutral I enjoyed it immensely. Congratulations again.
