If the All-Stars were being picked today after the Provincials and before the AI series.
I know that this team will be very different post AI final and I know that positions can be switched around. To date, Lee Chin is HOTY for me. YHOTY, I don't know the qualification rules: do Adam Hogan and Cathal O'Neill qualify?
1. Nickie Quaid 2. Dan Morrissey 3. Hugh Lawlor 4. Barry Nash or Adam Hogan 5. Ryan from Clare/Crummy from Dublin, but very open…The old Byrnes seems back. 6. T de Burca or Rob Downey…no stand out no. 6; Hannon seems storming into form. 7. Kyle Hayes (HOTY territory). 8. Daragh Fitzgibbon (HOTY territory). 9. Cathal O'Neill (if not in the forwards)/ David Fitzgerald/Paddy Purcell, but again a very open position. 10. Hegarty (HOTY territory). 11. Lee Chin (HOTY territory). IMO, Chin is the only player guaranteed to be an AS so far. He's been super-human. Not necessarily at 11, so Cork/Limk/KK no 11's all still in it. 12. John Donnelly (HOTY territory). 13. Dan Burke/Jake Morris/Mossie Keoghan (pole position) 14. Shane O'Donnell/TJ/Connolly of Cork 15. Aiden Gillane/Rory O'Connor

I do think he's the best player in the country at the minute though.
He's up there with rackard, flood, doran, Dunne, o Donnell for us now.

Unlikely all star unless he has unreal day in a quarter and a semi. Scoring a cricket score against Antrim ior Laois is.not enough for all star I think especially if we crash out in a quarter
He had a field day against Clare in 22 with one leg and still didn't get one

For young hurler of the year I feel we have 2 possibilities with Foley but particularly Cian Byrne. Byrne consistently scoring including 1;02 from play in Nowlan Park but Limerick brought on a young fella that got highlighted on Sunday Game so again what chance would a Wexford player have if we don't go to the semi

In this case both O'Neill and Hogan qualify for young hurler of the year and probably will be the two main contenders for it.
