And seeing as how you're unable or unwilling to provide any detailed information on armaghs tactical plan for the final, id happily accept something more basic. How about providing us with 5 facets of armaghs tactical plan for the final? Galway9801 (Galway) - Posts: 1942 - 19/08/2024 10:50:23 2565783 Link 0 |
Have you watched the game, or do you have enough kop on to see what happened.? Maybe Kieran McGeeney should in future notify you in advance of his plans.

I'm just looking for a break down of the tactical plan both teams employed for the final from a more astute student of modern day gaelic football than I am,, some of us aren't intelligent enough to figure out the intricate complexities of the current game you know :(

Id say for probably the first time ever the wining teams full forward line never got a score in the Alk Ireland Final…. That stat alone tells you all you need to know about modern football…! ForeverBlue2 (Cavan) - Posts: 3027 - 19/08/2024 13:08:58 2565818 Link 2 |
Maybe you'll be lucky enough to one day witness the Cavan men lift another Sam - then you'll understand.

1. Say a mass. 2. Catch it and kick it in. 3. Decapitate their best player off the ball and kick it in. 4. Decapitate their goalie and throw the ball into the net at every chance and kick it in. 5. Say another mass. sam2024 (Armagh) - Posts: 38 - 19/08/2024 21:14:42 2565893 Link 0 |

Where in the rules does it say that the full forward line has to score? You should rename yourself Victor Meldrew with all the moaning you do.

Nobody mentioned anything about rules… I was just stating a fact but it's one that doesn't sit well with the deluded like yourself who can't admit the problems Gaelic football has…. The President knows there is a problem, so does all the ex county players, a lot of them with multiple All Ireland's yet a fool like you and the Monaghan muppet keep your heads buried in the sand…. Why on earth has there been a committee set up to try and change several aspects of the game if there is no problem…? Have a wee bit of wit there's a good lad…..!!!

Ah now Victor It was yourself mentioned the full forward line not scoring and the state of football. Football is as healthy now as it was when Dublin were breaking records and people calling for them to be split in two. Roll on the league.

Agree. Though for now I am enjoying the Club Championship in Monaghan and surrounding counties. Victor meanwhile is sitting home in his shanty, imagining himself as being a sought out umpire in his fiefdom in Cavan. Obviously no one has ever told him you have to be at a game to umpire at it. Hoping to catch a game in Cavan this weekend and I am sure the football will be every bit as good as it was in years gone by. Hopefully there will be real umpires available and that Victor will be in his normal position at home looking after all his little shiny medals. Miracleous I reckon. Could be an old Cavan Gaels supporter as they have a few other deluded lads that take to the forums every now and again with fairy stories to tell. Bottom line Gaelic Football is alive and well with good crowds out at all the games I attended last weekend and again at the Minor League Finals on Tuesday. Every generation will play the game their way for their love of the parish and then the county.

True , Tyrone league finishes this weekend with some tasty games. Coalisland or Clonoe are more than likely in playoff to go down. Given the league didn't start until the last weekend in May it was run off really quick for 15 games. Might give the championship winners a bit of rest before Ulster. What can you say about Victor, he sounds like a man that could clear out a bar in 5 minutes.
