Well done The Banner. Would have been an injustice if you had lost. Brilliant final and kudos to Kilkenny for making it a cracking match.

Congrats Clare, great win! Should give the county great belief now, as KK are very hard to put away. Favorites vs Limerick now? Great momentum and at home! I'd have Clare slight favorites! What way are the bookies calling it?

I think Clare v Limerick in Ennis is as 50/50 as you will get in this championship. A draw is good value

Clare in the ascendancy via steep upward curve. Limerick on the road a long time and just hoping for a respectable performance in Ennis, but we'll show up anyway.

This team looks considerably weaker than the team that battled to victory over Limerick last year. I don't think we can hope to live with Limerick missing the driving force of Kelly, O'Donnell, Taylor, and McInerney During the league Rynne and Smyth showed well, but it is interesting to see that it is Donnellan and Mounsey who show up on the matchday bench, even though they featured very little thus far. I am definitely not questioning Lohan but I find the selection intriguing. Really looking forward to the game, to be honest not expecting Clare to be within a single score of Limerick at the end of this particular game but nonetheless expecting a good overall campaign from them.

It will be savage hard to raise ourselves to raise ourselves for Cork game but a win would put us back on horse I though it was fierce harsh on Ian Galvin and Shans why on earth does he name those dummy teams everyone knew it would not be team.
Most unfair on Leen, Galvins both what changes will he go with I don't think Dara Lohan good enough for midfield.
Apart from that awful concession of goals though Quilligan was awful with puckouts in second half Duggan won 3 frees off Byrnes pucked one ball in second half surprising Lohan dident take him off he is always made scapegoat.

Poor on line again yesterday send Davy Mac after Hegarty but he dident took off Rory Hayes when he had really settled into game when id Fitzgerald going to fulfil his potential wont stick a hand up indecent haste in putting on TF dident work

Major let off for Limerick again

Clooney it was a let off but when our first goal went in everything for Clare went downhill..some strange changes made and really couldn't figure why the 3 forwards were taken off, rogers and McCarthy looked very dangerous and caused us huge problems..Duggan won a load of ball in 1st half but did nothing in 2nd..how hegarty was left unmarked for last goal was outrageous..why was Kelly brought on,it seemed to lower Clare levels and actually lifted limerick..he wasn't needed at the time..cleary and quilligan were terrible for 2 goals..defenitely think we got away with the 3rd goal,as I said at time it was a square ball.next weekend is now a huge game for ye and it might be hard to lift it after yesterday..I take it Kelly starts before Lohan..also Fitz was very quite..hope we got rid of a lot of dirty petrol and push on now..we can say a huge thanks to Nicky in first half and hegarty was immense.some of our bigger players really stood up in last 15..we also pushed Clare back and put pressure on and it was evident Clare couldn't keep going the way they had been..Free's will be plentiful next week as I see James owens on duty in cork.

James Owens always seems to have a controversy when he officiates at Clare Matches id say we are up against it now in Cork.

They have very dangerous fast hurlers cant stay down forever hard to raise ourselves we could be out of champions' come Sunday evening as after two defeats you are relying on others Waterford could be a dark horse after all

Refresh my memnory.......Is this the 4th of 5th let off for Limerick over by Clare in recent times? Therer are none so blind as those who who will not see.... wake up and smell the coffee and the flowers. Goes without saying that Clare had Colm Lyins and Michael Duignan trying to "will" them acrross the line. To paraphrase Duignan with 10 minutes before 1/2 time when Clare were up by about 6 points.. he commented that Clare need to keep their heds and not make an stupid mistkes by taking wild high percentage shots betwen now and half time..... alays full of half -truthsand negative sound bytes about Linerick. .... totally out of order for a supposed unbiased commentatro.... give Duignan a jersey for whatever team is splaying against Limerick... Digraceful ...cometator should give neutral commentral , not biasede drivel .

BTW .....not sayin nuttin, juss makin a comment jus tdoesn't belong here...it belongs everywhere!

PS While we're at it... this is the response you get when you refer to a great comeback as alet -off. This comeback is up therre with 3rd quarter comeback v Tipp ...can't remember ... was it a 16 point comeback in 15 minutes??

Colm Lyons migh be your man if you can get him, even against Cork.....he seems to have a special affection for Clare judging by last Sunday.
