Good game with Glen lucky enough to win… St Brigids were very good and unlucky with the last free as it was the only wide they had in the match I think.. Amazing how both games today ended in exactly the same way….

When you put your arms around a fella and pull him to the ground it's a stone wall free and black card which is exactly what happened

He always steps up when needed, not greedy and lets others play. He's the difference in close games.

What a class act is Conor glass..he always just gets on with his football and doesn't get involved in any silly stuff..it is hard on bridgs who I actually thought were the better team..like watching Ben o Carroll to,very exciting forward..a lot of very good football played,I suppose no hope county managers might take a leaf out of these two club sides.

Are you serious.?It was one of the most obvious free ever and a black card too.

As a die hard Rossie fan I want to applaud both teams for giving us a great game in very bad conditions. Brigid's as total outsiders really put it up to Glen and can be very proud of themselves. It will be a very difficult defeat to take for Brigid's and Roscommon fans but most Roscoommon supporters I have talked to tonight, would not begrudge Glen their win. Top performances by Conor Glass and Ben O Carroll. Surely these performances should be taken into consideration during the 2024 All Stars debate. (To perform in an All Ireland final is impressive). Glad for Malacahy O' Rourke also as he is a decent guy.
Great performance also by St Thomas's. At least one All Ireland cup is crossing the Shannon this year and hopefully there will be more to follow. Keep the head up Brigid's, you did yourselves proud. You will be back again on the big stage as you are a very young team.

Two great games today.

Four great clubs.

I prefer the AI Club championship any day to County.

Club is what it's all about.

I completely agree with all of your points. Glass was exceptional today. He dragged his team over the line. O'Carroll is a quality forward. He's always looking to take on his man and make something something happen.
Between the two semi-finals and today's match, all played in terrible conditions, the football was very positive. Far more engaging than a lot of intercounty stuff.

Agree what an unbelievable missed goal.

Thought after the game that Conor Glass was not as influential on the game by his own extremely high standards until the last 10-12mins when he was immense… so I watched it again thinking I missed something … still feel the same!

I missed the first half of the hurling final, due to tv coverage of another code.

From the half time review of the incident involving an OLG player, it looked a straight red to me. The dismissal of a St. Thomas's player was for a foul on an opponent, who looked to make the most of it.

St. Thomas looked like the better team, and a fabulous point won it for them. They did not deserve to lose today. Just my thoughts.

Just wondering if you were umpire and you say a lad stepping in to hit a piledriver of a shot at the goal - where would you be standing?

One umpire should be slightly behind the goal in line with the attacking play and the other on his post… they should alternate if the play switches sides.. The problem was the umpire on the right nearest the shooter was away behind the goal while the other umpire was in the correct position… the lad on the right should have been on the post and would have had a clear view that the ball was over the line..
