Doing well to get 20,000 id have thought . By removing it from St Patricks day they took away 10,000 neutrals that live in Dublin or used travel up for it and it was a tradition for some people now its the clubs only . I think 93 was the first time the crowd passed 30000. And 96 It passed 40000. I'd be surprised if there was more than 20000 there on sunday, timing is a big factor, its very early in the year and you would wonder would it not be best to play the final before Christmas seeing as we now have a split season. Seems very small as I would expect each team should bring in the region of 3,000 - 4,000 thousand supporters from their club and county. The weather forecast is poor with expected rain and high winds. Anyone still selecting their seats should make sure that they are reasonably well back in the stands. However with that low of an attendance and the weather, people will not have much trouble moving around as some supporters will watch one of the two matches in the local pubs. It would appear that ticket sales are well down on what was originally expected. I have but in having a split season it's knock on effect has been to move the club finals from St Patrick's day to a Sunday in January which impacts attendance quite negatively number wise . I actually felt in terms of publicity the Paddy's Day finals could get lost some years with Cheltenham and the Six Nations finale, remember particularly 2018 when the finals clashed the same day as Ireland winning a grand slam in Twickenham. Weather is meant to be atrocious for tomorrow too so I don't expect many neutrals to pop into it! I miss the St Patrick's Day finals. Regardless of the split season though, I think St Patrick's day was far too long for the clubs involved to be waiting to finish the competition. They were training for another 2+ months after the new year, as a result. The club final would have only finished and they'd be into league matches for the current year.
