Well a deserved win for St. Brigids of Roscommon. Castlehaven played ok, but way too many sideways passes cost them. Brigids had a more direct approach. Brigids might easily have won by more too. A four point win for them. Glen V Crokes, my head says Crokes, but I hope Glen can do it. Tg4 at 3.30pm galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2565 - 07/01/2024 15:53:05 2518822 Link 0 |
Anyone at the Glen KC game? How can anyone see what's going on? Surely it should be called

Glen playing well from what I can see. Unfortunately could this match be abandoned or do the cameras make it worse? Saynothing (Tyrone) - Posts: 2151 - 07/01/2024 16:15:56 2518826 Link 2 |
Not their fault. No fog in Armagh and a better setup as well. Wrong time of year for football but GAA need things cleared up for July. Praying to do in Croke Park.

Not tg4 fault,floodlights aren't helping..from what I'm able to see,the glen by far the better team..croker should also be down to 14.. CTGAA10 (Limerick) - Posts: 2380 - 07/01/2024 16:44:34 2518835 Link 1 |
When bad fog has been forecast, can't understand why they are playing with a white ball. Surely they can organise a couple of orange balls that would help a little for an All Ireland semi final. They do it for some hurling matches. letsgetgoing (Roscommon) - Posts: 633 - 07/01/2024 16:46:52 2518838 Link 1 |
Careful what you wish for. It's either TNaG or no one.

Excellent game despite the conditions, Glen better team but where was the Crokes keeper for Glen's goal

It was much better at pitch level. We were looking at it from cameras high above the stand. WanPintWin (Galway) - Posts: 2187 - 07/01/2024 17:19:03 2518845 Link 3 |
Crokes could have lost a man plus Crokes second goal looked a square ball. Well done Glen.

Exciting game played in wild fog. Could have gone either way in the end. Fair play to both teams. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9785 - 07/01/2024 17:26:50 2518847 Link 0 |
Great finish. Great scores. Pity about the fog. Good to see an Ulster V Connacht final. galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2565 - 07/01/2024 17:31:07 2518848 Link 0 |
It was agreed before the game, they'd take him off for the last couple of minutes to make up for last year.

You could say the same for the flukey second Kilmacud goal, goalie error, presumably fog played a part. Tough on Crokes though, they were a couple of men down in the last few minutes

Sad old obsessive arrives.... If the Glen people thought like yourself they'd be all still in pub whinging instead of preparing for a final. Great game. Good comeback by Crokes but Glen kept their heads to get the vital score. I assume goalman had abandoned the line to take part in what was last throw of dice. Yellow/red tight call, ref was well positioned though. If you think crokes 2nd was a square ball, spec savers I'm afraid.
