Not surprised that Tom has decided to retire. Once HS decided to put all his postings in one thread, "The Musings of Tom Smith" , it kind of signalled the end of the line for him! Henceforth his contributions would be missing the same dramatic impact that they had when he was able to post his own individual threads. The longwinded thread titles were the most amusing and entertaining aspect of his contributions. Invariably I would click on them just to see how many people were annoyed by what he wrote. One thing for sure is he could wind posters up spring tight, a couple in particular, I'm glad to say I never replied to any of his posts. He had so-called long-lasting Elite posters eating out of his hand, he had more replies than most other posters and that says a lot, to make it better he is leaving this forum on his own terms and not being bullied into leaving.
