Was Joey Barton Correct When He Said Woman Should Not Discuss Mens Sport

What would you say are the main differences?"
Speed, strength, stamina and a group of 15 year old boys beating the Australian womens team ranked 5th in the world 7 nil.

It appears now as if this forum is a closed shop, I explained all of this to a few friends recently their reply was if you are not attached to an appropriate county jersey you will always be classed as a misfit irrespective of how honest your posts are, even a known troll will be accepted first, wow.

Personally, I am very much aware that this is a nameless and faceless forum etc, etc, etc. however, I will continue to post as necessary.

Merry Christmas
Joey, carrots not included."
I understand the point you are making and agree to a large degree, but you couldn't take this forum seriously anymore. It's gone down a lot in recent years.

Most women I know have no interest in football, they have even less interest in women's football.
If you have kids or family members playing ladies football then ok they'll be involved when it's their own family playing, apart from that no, they have women presenters and pundits on just to satisfy the woke crowd."
Hahahahahahaha
It'd embarrassing for everyone that you wasted the time and effort to type that garbage

It's a waste of breath {print} discussing this subject because the quota will remain in place and anyone who tries to replace it will be shredded, just use the mute button and enjoy the sport.

It's gone too slow for messages appearing. You can't have a debate if you don't get to see the answer to a question until 2moro. Also good posters like Canuck and Tiobraid aren't posting any more. Most of the Kilkenny posters don't post very often any more, as don't some of the Wexford ones.

He entitled to his view shows you how far this forum is can culture war crap instead of having decent respect for someone's view and not just so call people with woke opinions that are doing it either.
Joey Barton also noted like the attention , he entitled to his opinion on it maybe some agree I don't but that's fine but what is worrying his full blown tirade against women and anyone who speaks a different view to him.
Growing polarisation in every issue nearly now. Not a good path go down.
If this also heads down divisive path it's finished , labelling anything one likes woke etc if u don't agree

Entitled to debate the way he said it was wrong but probably his intention

The women's game is pretty different to the men's game alright but the game that's being played today by the top men is also very different to what was being played when Joey Barton was playing. Honestly some of the worst analysis comes from ex pros who don't accept that the game's moved on and they are still pushing principles that were important for them but no longer relevant.

I don't agree with having female pundits as they have no experience in playing men's football so you can't take their opinions seriously. Mens football is much more physical than woman's. It would be like having a club footballer as a pundit who never played county. It wouldn't make sense as they never played in the All Ireland mens championship.

To take Barton's point to it's logical conclusion we shouldn't have to listen to a journeyman Premier League/Championship player discussing the very top level of the sport.

What box is it ticking?

Did anyone ask for it to be ticked, and what difference does it make?

So because of science and genetics we should sneer and poke fun at ladies sports? Why do men get so bothered by these things. It's pathetic stuff. Attention seeking idiots.
