I see a replay has been ordered in a hurling game in Cork due to 16 players being on the pitch. points50swiththeargyllsonthewrongfeet (Tyrone) - Posts: 274 - 09/10/2023 09:03:09 2507477 Link 2 |

The replay was ordered. Glen decided not to pursue the appeal as they accepted that the situation had not determined the outcome. In this case, the extra man was clearly a factor in a crucial phase.

I'm not sure that's the reason they declined the replay Barney. There would've been 1 less defender in the box. I think it had more to do with not wanting it all dragging on.

They knew it was not the reason they lost and moved on like men. A rare trait anywhere these times.
