Personally, I would have no problem with GAAGO provided there was no pay wall, the TV license fits into the same category as a gun license, a dog license, a driving license, a fishing license even a marriage license it is no more than a "permit "so permits are not a direct form of taxation. Someone mentioned V.A.T, my understanding is V. A.T is a direct form of taxation, I could be wrong but I'm going to take a risk and say it was there pre internet in the form of T.O.T and I think T.O.T was a variable form of taxation that wasn't fine-tuned.


What is more important than any of the above stuff is the fact that the associations amateur status is slowly being strangled to death, like I said in a previous post "we are on the slow road to professionalism."


We are being ambushed and penalized for being supporters of our national games by the people in charge.

I've mentioned before the news channel on RTÉ has been used when it suits.it was used for Connacht football this year when it clashed with some other fixture..I can't for the life of me figure out why tg4 and virgin media havnt been given the option to show games..coverage on tg4 is excellent..I also don't accept that the cork hurling games wouldn't be shown only for Gaa go,it looks to me that RTÉ might have been told stay away from them and we,ll put high profile Munster champuonship on pay wall..our president really annoys me cos he seems to be laughing at all the Gaa supporters,he can never give a proper answer to any question..why is there so much secrecy in relation to the deal between croke park,RTÉ and Gaa go??

GAAGO Samsung Smart TV app is working well. Easy to pair to get it going. Saves lots of fiddling with Chromecast, Firestick, browser etc. Not sure why GAA don't publicise that a bit more.
