Galway will be safely through to the next round and fans will not travel. Armagh will bring 15,000. Louth would bring max 5,000 and Kerry fans will not travel. All round 3 games should be played in provincial grounds. Better atmosphere will lead to better games. I know that while London got their venue renovated maybe a decade ago, it was agreed they'd play all their games at home one year and all away the next year (or maybe the other way around), and then occasionally a team might be punished by having to forfeit home advantage, but that was all I knew. Funny the media didn't comment more on Kerry moving their Dublin games to Croke Park. What I did have in mind though was something I seem to remember years and years ago about Fermanagh having had 7 years of three home and four away games in the league in the previous 10 years. Of course I might be remembering that all wrong, but I'd say if you were to tally up every county's home and away counts, you'd get some shocking discrepancies, even accounting for cases such as your example of Kerry vs Dublin and teams being stripped of home advantage. So to see the best player in Ireland at the moment David Clifford playing against the Wee County in Croke Park would bring the Wee County supporters out in their thousands. Apologies, off topic a bit. Are there many neutral supporters in Dublin that would go to Croke Park? I lived in Swords in 2000 to 2005, went to some hurling and football games as a neutral. Although there's a fair few Ulster teams that be playing neutral venues same day I think. I can recall the hurlers one time have to win or lose by a certain margin to get a league semi final place, but be unique for footballers I think to have to rake up a big score to advance.
