Replying To BarneyGrant:  "Be great if Danny was available but highly unlikely. Still hobbling down in Newbridge.

Conor Donohue be good call for centre back I think? Has been brilliant all year and can dominate and score in same way as Chris."
Conor Donohue being back is a major plus. He has being playing really well.

I have a sneaky feeling Danny will be on the subs tbh.

Chris is a major loss though - I think he is our best player.
Such a force, very skilful hurler and a hell of a lot of experience.

But sure he will be back for the final.... ;o)
(if only...)

I'll say this once and once only in advance of this weekend, for Leinster, and for what we ourselves might hope to achieve UP THE DUBS!

Give them loads of it lads. You let yourselves down back in 13, leave it all on the pitch this time.

Absolutely Doyler! Would be great to see them win it out now.

It was definitely a game Dublin could have won. The sending off made it very difficult, but Dublin missed a hell of a lot of chances also.
What could have been...

Fair play Doyler and Viking. Proper Wexford hurling men.
If we can at least match Wexford's effort against Tipp in 2018 ill be happy enough.

Paddy Dunleavy's grandad was one of the last people to leave An tOileán Thiar in 1953.

Not a hurling stronghold now but it was actually the most popular on the island back in the day when all the men from the upper and lower part of the village played hurling ar an Trá Bán.

I hope his grandad is still about to see Paddy play some part tomorrow.

I don't post much the week of a match but I think tomorrow is a defining day which will set hurling in one of 2 trajectories.
Win, and its simply amazing and the build up to the final needs to be capitalised on like a football final would be.
Lose but give a good account will help bring new support back on board.
Lose badly, back to square 1.
I hope at least for the good account. I am cautiously optimistic that we can repeat the Limerick dose but I live in a world of cautious optimism. I don't believe its "bonus territory" because bonus territory is for no-hopers not for a county where lots of time and resources has been spent by people and the county board.
Having Conor Donohoe back is a huge plus because he was really good v Galway. I thought Crummey might go to DRA but anyway, its over and any player who gets another sent off I don't know how you could look in the mirror the day after it.
Can't wait now, got good tickets the minute they went on sale so delighted and hope its a great game and occasion.
Up the Dubs.
