Dublin SHC starts tomorrow evening.

Some tasty fixtures in the 1st round of games.

I am sure Niall will be attending quite a few of the fixtures.

I think Crokes will win it this year.

I honestly think they left the Dublin SHC behind them last year.

Dont get me wrong, I was delighted for Na Fianna but Crokes blew it.

Agree with that but last years win will give Na Fianna great confidence now going forward.

Different manager now though.

But they might, you never know.

Dubs TV dont seem to be showing the Saturday matches. Are they not showing them at all? Good wins for Vincents & Whitehall so far

That facile win over Dublin did Cork no favours whatsoever.... they would have learned nothing from that and were probably undercooked going into the final.

Yep, it definitely looks that way alright.

Tipp were lucky to get by Kilkenny, but that tough match stood to them.

That is 2 big hidings the Cork hurlers suffered this year. But that 2nd half performance yesterday was......

Feel sorry for Hoggie - can't see him doing a Clucko on it....

A mate of mine was at that game and said Brigids were all over Crokes in first half and up by nine at one stage.

I think a close Dublin SHC can only benefit our county squad.
And there will be some crackers of games to come in our SHC.

Its tough on Horgan but sure did we feel sorry for Cillian O connor who has lost much more? I did nt. At the semi final the Langer beside me before the game while eating his sangwege was telling me the long lay off will affect Cork. Then after the game he tells me the Dublin schools should show the recording of the match so young Dubs can see what real hurling is like. well I hope the show they recording of yesterdays game to the kids in Langerland now lol.

There was nothing lucky about Tipp's win against Kilkenny. They played the better hurling on the day and used the ball better. They cut Kilkenny open for 4 goals and could have had a few more.
They played the last 15 minutes a man down, while Kilkenny got away with what should have been a clear sending off.
Luck had very little to do with Tipp's win. Kilkenny only struck a single wide in the second half (which looked like a pass rather than a shot), so it wasn't Kilkenny wastefulness either that helped Tipp over the line.
Tipp were simply better on the day.

Big difference playing in goals and outfield.Horgan s age caught up with him yesterday. Hopefully next years D ubs can kick on and Wexford Galway improve. Im sick of listening about Munster hurling this and that.

Yep it really did catch up on him yesterday.
I will be very surprised if he lines out again next year for Cork.

Galway will improve but Wexford are not great if you take Lee Chin out of their team.
He has been carrying them for so long now. What a player.

EOD will be back for us next year and hopefully Danny can stay injury free.
Chris Crummey is some player.
I think we will kick on next year. I have a lot of faith in Niall.

Yep, I was in the Davin Stand and a whale of a langer in a Cork jersey stood, turned to face faced the hordes of Cork fans behind him and shouted, "they tell us Dublin is now a hurling county" to a guffaws of langer laughter.
I swear to God when that third Tipp goal went in yesterday I cheered louder than any Tipp fan.

Haha good enough for him. He was probably one of the first supporters to leave too.
Unfortunately there are ignormaasus in every county. I'd say that fella is quiet as a lamb today :)
