The difference is I would be trusted to do the job , I know the game inside out….

Ah, him with that wonderful talent, that if a ball goes directly over the post, he's able to tell exactly which way it would have bounced if the post had been taller.

Wonder what he does if the ball would have struck the front of the post, and bounced back into play?

Does he throw a ball in around where the rebound would have landed, and shout "not out, play on!" ?????

The more I hear from him, leads me to believe one of those balls came down and hit him on the head and transferred him back to those great old days of the parish trying to get through the next parish with the ball. No referees or umpires required then. There are still pockets in his own county that play that game. Sure it drove Seanie Johnson to take up hurling.

Ah don't waste your breath replying to his nonsensical utterances. I quit months ago. He is a laughing stock around all of the forums that he creeps into. An angry little man moaning about all things Gaelic Football. A minority of one on all of the forums. Whether it's the Cavan league system, hawkeye, our championship format, hankering for the 1970s foul ridden games or even insulting other counties on their lack of silverware, although there are very few alive who remember his County in an All Ireland Final. Then his Walter Mitty type belief that he is actually asked by referees to umpire games. His handle suits him well though "Forever Moaning" might be more apt.

One thing for certain ORIELMAN is that you were never asked by a referee to umpire as you were never at a game… your total nonsense talk proves that… No club could tolerate you…..

I can take it our umpire friend was not behind the goal in tuam stadium.

Gary sice free hits top of post goes inwards and after consultation between refs umpires and linesman rightly given wide as went over post

Now be nice to one another or you won't be left out to play at lunch time. Being watched like a "Hawk" (two eyes) from behind the pole (phone).
