One was a bad injury and one was bad case of stupidity. Don't think they are related.

Two separate clubs by the way. And the hurling final was abandoned due to a blayney hurler being knocked out and seriously concussed due to a brutal high challenge. I think Truagh should be "evicted" from the competition….. disgraceful

Shouldn't be evicted from intermediate. Awful decision

The video of the incident has been doing the rounds and the general feeling from anyone who seen it was they would be put out, has happened two teams in Longford this year also.
Clones should have had a free in the build up to blaneys first goal instead of been blown up for over carrying so shouldn't even be a issue.

Harps not played a competitive game in a months and counting so may as well give carrickmacross the trophy now.

Give clones a bye to the final sure and a 15 point headstart

Sure the league final doesn't take place until after championship, harps will have plenty of competitive games. Either both teams thrown out or both let play should be the stance

The brawl was started by the clones bench running across the field to the blayney dugout

A very "under strength" Scotstown put Corduff in their place last night. By my reckoning they have 4 starters still to come back into their team.
Corduff had some very good individual performances to their credit but the team/panel to compete just isn't there. Worryingly from an opposition perspective Scotstown seemed to have the legs on a very fit corduff team, noticed 4 or 5 corduff men pulling up with cramp in the last few mins.

Was this before or after their water boy was knocked unconscious and had water bottles thrown at him by the blayney bench whilst out cold with a fractured jaw?! The correct call was made for once by the county board...now for them to stand by it.

What about Seans performance yesterday? Pretty much rolled over at home to eire og who ran out convincing winners.
Good final set up now with them and emyvale.

Corduff played all the football in first half but the goals in both halves were killer blows, only Jack mccarron looked impressive for scotstown, he took over free taking from beggan who missed 3-4 very scoreable frees.. Jason McGee will be a serious addition to Corduff for championship.. magheracloone had an impressive win over latton, coming from 9 points down to win, I'd tip them too beat scotstown in the league final as they will definitely want it more

Some interesting results in the league this weekend. Ballybay and Toome look in bother for the championship and staying in their divisions. What do Latton have to do to get over the line? Magheracloone impressive going for intermediate to senior league final. Are they the coming team?

Surprise in Junior too with Eire Og steamrolling Sean's. Sean's at home too. Scotstown will be dangerous in Junior this year with the new rules and young legs unless some of the them get called up to senior. Narrow loss to much fancied Emyvale shows they are not far away

Yes as I've said the county needs Scotstown in intermediate to bring a level of competitiveness back in.

They would need the headstart anyways. Miles off it
