They could go without a manager next year and they'd still win the county championship at their leisure. Even with possibly the highest rated coach in Ulster, Peter Donnelly, by his side, they couldn't get over the line. New manager coming for sure.

Looks like Conor McManus is going to try and give it another year.

Like a broken record .. another year no Ulster title … I would say you have posted at least 30 posts this year with the references above.

I'm not throwing nothing out of the pram. Just calling you out for what you are …"
With your arrogance, you dont cop on that he is correct. The 70s/80s men were a team who did their talking on the field. Men who would die for each other. The also had mentors who were in it for the love of the club. No Monaghan Senior club has ever lay down and surrendered like YOUR heroes did against Kilcoo.

Not much noise being made about the terrible conditioning levels Scotstown appeared to be in comparison to Kilcoo.

Probably feels the 3 up can get the best out of him

Man owes us nothing and should go out on his own terms but it's best for all parties to call it a day. Too many eejits putting pressure on him to 'give it another year'. It would have been fitting for him to bow out in semi in 2022. Last year was a stretch but one more year would start to erode his legacy. We would be better off trying to develop young forwards in the county.

With Dermot Malone in as a coach next year it's good to see we are looking to the future in that respect but I doubt many of that minor team are ready to come through to the extended panel yet. Head scratching he was turned down for the under 20 job next year but good to see Brannigan has brought him in.

Another man stuck in the past … every club in Monaghan has players from the club and managers coaches. Get with the times … like a man united fan .. time moves on

That's the worrying thing that the Monaghan champions were beaten so easily. Does not inspire confidence for the county senior team

They're in great shape. For men of their age.
