Just in case anyone of the regular posters on London GAA will still bother posting now the UK section is gone, could use this thread...

Will probably end up getting lost though. A shame. I don't know, maybe a London GAA WhatsApp group would be better now?

Senior hurling semi's now sorted, Gabriels v Murphys and Emmetts v McCurtains, big surprise this yeah that Pearse's and Kilburn failed to make semi's. Gabriels and Emmetts favourites but McCurtains have run both close in the group stage.

Any word on when Joes and Clarets are playing to see who goes through to the All Britain?

looking at the game from the group stage should be an easy win for Gabriels, but think Murphys had already qualified.

Big semi finals this weekend. Fulham TCG a real 50/50 game, I'd expect Fulham to come through as TCG weren't great in the group stages. Kiernans will go in to the other semi as favourites but Round Towers did really well to overcome NLS who had a decent side. Kiernans have blown hot and cold all season so no reason why Towers can't give them a game. Fulham and Kiernans by a few points each

So do two go down to Intermediate? Treacys and either Kilburn or Pearses? Be a real shock if one of those two go down. Hoping the Irish World will have a bit more info on it all tomorrow

Huge relegation play off, not overly surprised to see pearses struggle this year. There was a massive push go on to make their 100th year a successful one and fair play they have done what they set out to achieve. Fancy kilburn to have the edge over them, but should be a cracker of a match.

St.Joes v Clarets will be a closer game than most people believe I feel. Clarets full forward line very strong but equally joes have some quality forwards, will probably come down to which defence has a stronger day. Tipping joes to just shade it by 2/3 points but wouldnt be overly surprised to see clarets win.

TCG v Fulham, from what id seen early on in the year TCG looked as though they had recruited well and were building well to wrestle back their senior crown, seem to have flattered to decieve though, performances havent been as strong as you would expect. Fulham on the other hand were poor early on in the year and then have come out of their group as winners with ease. Momentum going into this game completely different for both sides and as a result fancy Fulham to win this. Fulham by 4

St.Kiernans V Round Towers. fair play to towers for beating NLS in the last group stage game to qualify after being comfortably beat by fulham in their previous game. Kiernans another club who have been up and down this year, looked lost Vs KKG but then went out and comfortably beat TCG in the next round. Be hard to see anything but a Kiernans win here. Kiernans by 6+

Not really sure on the hurling front but on the football.

Joes Clarets - Hard one to call really, I would imagine it was Joes objective to get out of Intermediate and anything beyond that would be bonus territory. Watching the final the last day Clarets would see very little to fear but Joes did overcome Clarets in the league (not that you should look too much into league). All in all I think that Joes should shade this by a 2/3 to go on and face Mac Dermotts of Birmingham in the semi of the All-Britain I think.

TCG Fulham - At the start of the year I would have had TCG nailed on however I think the burners have only really got going with Fulham since the group stages of the championship. Have Fulham recruited someone from Tyrone who is supposed to be fairly handy? I will say draw and Fulham AET.

Towers Kiernans - Towers done great to get this length however I can only see this being the end of the road for them. St.Kiernans have had indifferent form this year but would still expect them to be too strong for Towers. Kiernans by 7

Be great to see Towers in the final. Great double header at Ruislip Sunday anyway

Looking forward to both semi finals.

I see them as even enough contests. Fulham look the best of all four but each team have struggled in championship games this year.

Fulham TCG should be a great game, I am going to say Fulham by 5.

You would expect Kiernan's to win the other semi final but if Towers set up right and I'm sure they will with Maher at the helm they could be in the running. I'm going to say Kiernan's by 3.

Going to say Joes by 5 in the playoff. Think Clarets will want it more but Joes are a different level of opposition to what Clarets would have faced already in this years championship.

Reserve Semi Final 1- Thomas McCurtains v St Kiernans Greenford P1 1pm - Kiernans have always been strong
Reserve Semi Final 2 - St Josephs v Fulham Irish Greenford P2 1pm - Fulham, beat them easily in league recently
Play Off - St Josephs v St Clarets Greenford P2 2.30pm - Joes by a few
SHC semi - Robert Emmetts v Thomas McCurtains, Ruislip 1pm, should be close, Emmetts experience maybe to see them through
Football League Div 3 Final - Harlesden Harps v Tara, Ruislip 2.30pm - fancy Harlesden to win

See McCurtains are expected to play two semi finals at the same time, surely the board could have fixed it so no clash, more excellent work from London fixtures committee.

SHC Relegation Play Off Bros Pearse v Kilburn Gaels Greenford P1 2.30pm - tough to call, Peares AET
SFC Semi Final 1 St Kiernans v Round Towers Ruislip 12pm - Kiernans should have the experience, but I also tipped NLS to beat Towers
SFC Semi Final 2 Fulham Irish v Tir Chonaill Gaels, Ruislip 2pm - expect Fulham to bring the best out of TCG, TCG by 1.

This is typical ignorance by the fixtures committee. Unfortunately, if you are not playing in northwest London, you will be treated this way. How anybody can think it's acceptable for this to happen is staggering. First and foremost, there is likely to be players that would play the reserve championship with no clash, but even if this was not the case, the logistics of managing two matches at the same time for the club is impossible. How can the Secretary sign both team sheets for example.
