What a win for the Marys. Kiki Keenan was fantastic. Its gonna be some final against Cuala. Hopefully Donal Mc Kenny does a job on King Con.

Replying To MillerX:  "Well done to St Mary's Ardee. They have a great footballing tradition going back for centuries. A final is never easily won but you certainly won't win if you're not there. Hopefully the occasion doesn't get to them and that each and every one of their players leave everything on the pitch.
On another note, correct me if I'm wrong on this but weren't the semifinals of the last two, at least, Leinster Senior Championships played in Croke Park? Why the change this year?
One step forward followed by two backward."
It was in 2021 and 2022 that both Leinster semi finals were played in Croke Park. Here is a quiz question for you? Is the Marys the first GAA club from Louth to play in Croke Park?

Great result for St.Marys and well deserved. Best of luck against Cuala, be great to see a Louth club finally win a Leinster senior.

You are correct and right. Blues played there. Cooley also played a few times there as well.

Louth v Meath is final game of league. Hopefully it will be a dead rubber for both by then. both counties safe.

There is no such thing as a dead rubber in Louth v Meath matches. The ideal situation would be both teams have something to play going into the last match. Like Easter Sunday April 8 in 2012 in Navan.

You'd hope we will beat Westmeath roscommon will be hard. Cavan will be a close game. Should be able to beat down in ardee. Monaghan ardee will be close either team. Cork away will be hard with cork trying to look for revenge from last year. And an easy win on the last fixture :)

I don't think any team will run away with the league. Each team looks like taking points off each other. Louth have a good record in Ardee over the past few years. If my memory serves me right they only lost 3 matches there out of 11 matches. Louth seem to start off slowly in the league. The last match against Meath at Inniskeen is gonna be some battle. I fancy Roscommon and Cork to go up and Meath and Westmeath to go down.

The makings of a great league this one. Any team could go D1 or easily D3!
Looking forward to it now

according to paddy power Meath are favourites for relegation, so they could well be relegated by the time the game in inniskeen comes along if the bookies are right, westmeath second favs to go down as well. There would be some celebrations that evening in Drogheda, the two Meath teams relegated from the div!!

There would be more celebrations if Louth got promoted. Louth and Westmeath even though they played each other aload of times since 2000 in the Championship, League and O Byrne cup there would be no bitter rivalry.
