I bring this up as it is a weak excuse being brought up on repeat by Carlow media and the team setup 'this is a young team'. I'll save you the time and let you know our current football crop is 26.5 years old on average. Can someone please explain to me how this is a young team? It's soon entering the latter.

These bodies are willing to tell lies or bend the truth so long as the responsibility doesn't fall on their doorstep. It wouldn't surprise me." Definitely not I would say. Most of the hurlers are late 20s and some 30s at this stage. A handful of early 20s but not many.

Any way ... should be a good contest. Dublin I think will win. They have Burke back and an exciting 19 yr old called Purcell who I saw in Dublin final.
My heart would of course love a win or even a draw. However Dublin are strengthening all the time and only indiscipline stopped them beating Waterford
I would expect Dublin to be strong contenders in leinster.
I think another 2 points would guarantee us staying up so I would be confident we can reach that goal against Laois and Westmeath. But not straightforward, either.

T" Danny Sutcliffe back for dubs as well named as a sub. It's a huge ask to get anything tonight but with the half forward line Carlow have picked for this evening you'd never know. I doubt any Carlow team in any code has ever picked a line as strong as Chris, Mouse and James.
