Replying To Kew:  "Aodhan oriordain was on otb calling the GAA the gaah. It's a real demeaning thing I find. Is it a upper class Dublin thing or where did it come from. He was complaining about how soccer is looked down on because it's working class as if the GAA is not working class too. This gaah thing really annoys me"
He is from Clontarf I think. The gaah is used by non GAA persons , not just in Dublin, but can be heard all over. Soccer has a big following in 'the working class' areas in Dublin, and other cities.

The soccer fraternity are just bitter because the 'gaah' is better organised and run professionally. Pure jealousy.

Tony ward writing in the paper today that the Munster v Connacht urc game last night proves rugby is better then GAA. Why does he have to attack the GAA after a game were no one was able to defend in because of bad conditioning? It's like people attacking rugby because of a high scoring fbd game in the Connacht dome

Better than Gaelic football for sure, but not hurling

Tell Tony go and watch a hurling match if he wants to see a great game with real skill not pushing and shoving.

Soccer in Ireland doesn't help itself at times in fairness

Is é mo thuairm go bhfuil tú ag cáint ráiméis. Gaelic football, invented by Irish people is a great game. A lot of rugby games are very one sided. Tony Ward is not a nice man.

Replying To BarneyGrant:  "The Ulster descendants of the Protestant settlers are not Irish, Do you think you know them better than they know themselves?

Which is both hopelessly naive and insulting to them. We share an island and need to make a compromise as they have nowhere else to go, unlike more recent additions. They have a right to be here, the Brits as a sovereign power do not. You do not seem to grasp the difference.

What it is a lesson for is that the Irish nation is not a sponge capable of absorbing everyone who gets off the boat or the plane, We lost the first plantation, we lose this one, and that's it my friends."
Sounds like Far right talk there Barney. GAA probably needs some "foreign" players to help expand it. If you ask me.

Anyway, I'm done with this. Going by this and your input on at least one thread, you seem to have a bit of an anti-GAA agenda of your own."
Limerick are not good at Gaelic football. And a lot of his bitterness stems from this if you ask me.

Claiming no-one able to defend because of bad conditioning is straight out lies.

Rugby needs to do something about the amount of match time that is wasted setting and resetting and resetting scrums. When a scrum is awarded at international level these days, you can go make yourself a cup of tea, and come back to find they're probably still settling the same scrum.

That isnt really true but rugby has made law changes to speed up and change scrum to speed ot up from calls in engagement process to changes to sanctions as well as other changes
