Dublin's Orlagh Nolan has been named as The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month for August.
The vastly-experienced 31-year-old produced an outstanding display as the Sky Blues defeated Meath in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship final at Croke Park on 3 August. And that barnstorming display from the two-time TG4 All Star has secured the monthly award for the dynamic Ballinteer St John's player.
An extremely versatile player who made her senior inter-county debut in 2019, Orlagh captured a fourth TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship medal in 2025, scoring a point against Meath in the showpiece decider.
And Orlagh’s performance capped a remarkable return from a serious knee injury sustained before the 2024 TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship quarter-final clash with Galway.
Orlagh made substitute appearances this year against Cork in the TG4 All-Ireland quarter-final and against Galway in a classic semi-final in Tullamore, which went all the way to extra-time before Dublin prevailed.
The final against Meath was Orlagh’s first inter-county start since a TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship group fixture against Kildare in 2024 – and she responded with a brilliant outing in the half-forward line.
