Niall Ó Ceallacháin has been confirmed as the new Dublin senior hurling manager.
The Na Fianna clubman has been appointed for a three-year term along with a backroom team that includes David Curtin (Ballyboden St. Enda's), Donal McGovern (Kilmacud Crokes) and Nigel O'Hara (Na Fianna). Ó Ceallacháin, who replaces new Galway manager Micheál Donoghue in the role, is currently in charge of Na Fianna who are chasing back-to-back Dublin SHC titles.
This year's U20 manager Shane O'Brien and Joe Fortune - who both coincidentally managed Westmeath - were also believed to be considered for the post.
