With Michael Murphy to the fore, Glenswilly booked their place in the Donegal SFC quarter-finals with a 2-11 to 0-12 victory over Sean MacCumhaills on Sunday.
The 2012 All-Ireland SFC winning captain and Donegal SFC sponsor scored six points as Glenswilly made it four wins from four and took a step closer to their first Dr Maguire Cup success since 2016. St Michael’s, holders Naomh Conaill and Kilcar are also through to the last-eight. In an incredibly low scoring Round 4 clash, St Michael’s edged out Gweedore by 0-6 to 0-5.
Gweedore now face a preliminary quarter-final against Sean MacCumhaills. The other preliminary quarter-final pairings are: Dungloe v Downings; St. Eunan’s v Ardara; and Four Masters v Killybegs.
Meanwhile, St Naul's meet Glenfin and Cloughaneely take on Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon in the relegation playoffs.
