The tragic death of rising Offaly football star Adam Mangan in a farm accident last October stunned the GAA world. The 19-year-old's passing was also greeted with sadness in Rochfortbridge which is where his mother Janette (nee Boland) hails from. Adam was also a talented rugby player and represented both Leinster and Ireland at youth level.
