Crookedwood GAA club president Richie Duffy passed away on Saturday, July 16th, 2016. Richie had been involved with all aspects of club activities and always enquired to see how the various teams were getting on. As an outstanding player, he was captain of the 1956 junior championship winning team, lining out at centre forward. He also served on various committees down through the years and was a tireless worker behind the scenes. It was a fitting tribute when he was named as honorary club president.
