Edward 'Ned' Roarke, Tullybane, Mount Temple, Moate passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017. Ned was a stalwart of Caulry GAA Club, lining out at midfield on their all-conquering 1957 JFC-winning team. He also won junior league honours with Caulry in 1956 and '57. After hanging up his boots, he remained a loyal supporter of the club and the high esteem in which he was held was reflected in the fact that Caulry GAA provided a Guard of Honour as Ned made his final journey.
